 "Jogayya" Audio Review
Listened to all songs except Gangeya Avana. I agree that Jogi was far better.
1. Kuri Kolina – Not my taste.
2. Tagalakkonde - OK, but not as good as I expected.
3. Bolenath - This is the best in album.
4. Yaroo Kanadooru – Good one. But I feel I have heard this before. Some hindi song.
5. Hettavalalla – Looks like situational song. May fit on screen. Average song with super music.
6. Odo le - Harikrishna tries to do fusion of desi+rock, like Jogi songs. But somehow that Hodimaga song’s energy is not in this song. Still a good song. 2nd best song of album in my view.
7. Mother theme – Musically its orchestration is super. Quite obviously tune is from Beduvenu Varavannu. So it is more from Jogi than Jogayya.
8. Gangeya Avana – Yet to listen.
Pros:
1. Good orchestration.
2. Musically more rich than any recent songs I heard.
Cons:
1. Lyrics is not good. (I don’t eat Kuri, Koli.. )
2. Songs do not have a good “flow”. The variations in tempo is not handled properly.
Not as good as expected. Raaj was better. Still, Songs have good orchestration, and if paired with good visuals, they can be a treat to watch.
